A key component of social media marketing Omaha is Twitter.
Without it, people assume your brand is weak. Or worse, that you have something to hide.
Having an established Twitter account for customers and potential customers is important. But to really get the most out of your social media marketing, you need a solid content strategy to accompany your efforts on Twitter and social media in general.
High-quality content compels other users to share it via their profiles which increases your overall engagement. Engagement is what makes your social media account valuable. Or not.
Without a clear strategy behind the content you are producing, your efforts ultimately devolve into a game of randomness.
Successful social media marketing Omaha is like the Pythagorean theorem: A + B = C
In social media marketing, it looks like this: High-quality content + social media marketing = engagement.
Engagement is what everyone with a social media account is after. Except for maybe your grandmother in Poughkeespsie, NY who uses her Twitter account to follow Ellen DeGeneres.
Without content strategy, you ultimately end up spending your valuable time with limited or no results. Why do that when you can hire LGD to do the heavy lifting for you? That’s what the Omaha Beef did.
We created content for the team’s official website throughout the 2015 season and also managed the Twitter account.
We created two of the most engaged tweets in the history of the account, in two styles:
PR style – Used as a brand awareness tool rather than a call to action, a shotgun approach used when you want to get the word out. When former Cornhuskers QB Brion Carnes joined the Beef, we wrote a press release for the site that we promoted via Twitter:
Live event style – The aim is to capture the feel of the event (and usually push a #hashtag), to get fans excited and engaged. When the Beef won defeated the Sioux City Bandits on the game’s final play, we captured the action with this tweet. Then, wrote this recap for the team website:
Using Twitter is an important part of any social media marketing strategy. Contact us to talk about your biggest marketing problem, or just to talk about football. It’s the one thing that vies for our love aside from design!
